SECURITIES TRADING

The Company presently has a fully owned broker dealer securities dealing subsidiary- Golden Securities Limited (a member of the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) and national Association of Securities Dealers (NASD)). The company planned to up its game in this area of broker dealer operations by leveraging on the technology disruptions and increasing unserved markets with robust investment attracting and servicing hub. A key part of the strategy is to channel adequate resources to the retail end of the market that can be captured by additional investments in infrastructures, marketing and publicity geared towards increased retail investors base; thereby expanding its high net worth individual and institutional investors base as well.

The trading and sale of investment related securities will provide a cash flow that will alleviate a portion of the risk associated with the deal flow dependent brokering business. Additionally, this division will provide the capital necessary to pay for some of the basic financial obligations of the business. We feel that by operating among these varying securities trading related based businesses that we can alleviate the risks usually associated with each business. In times of economic recession or an unfavorable business environment, our investment securities trading business will act as a cash flow buffer to ensure that the Company can continually meet its financial obligations and continue its business operations. In addition, the company will embark on the development of strategic portfolio and wealth management products targeted at some highly informed funds, institutional investors and family offices that needed additional services and effective handling of their portfolios.
